Step 1: Clean

• For oily leather: clean the surface with soapy water.
• For suede or nubuck: dust the surface with a soft brush.

Step 2: Feed

Nourishing leather is essential to preserving its beauty. Over time, the material naturally develops a patina, giving it the unique character we all know it for.

Regardless of the type of leather, it's important to condition it with a special leather polish or moisturizer... or not. The moisturizer in your bathroom is just as effective.

Note: To nourish patent leather, apply a drop of cooking oil to the surface and dry immediately.

Step 3: Protect

While cleaning and nourishing leather may seem obvious, protecting the material is also essential when caring for an accessory.

Leather protection begins with waterproofing: to avoid rain stains, choose a waterproofing product suited to the type of leather you have. Also protect it from the sun, heat, and sebum, as these can promote depigmentation and the appearance of stains. Finally, take special care when storing your leather bag: when not in use, store your accessory in a fabric bag or pillowcase, and store it vertically on a clean, flat surface. Never hang it up, as it may lose its shape.
